The website of the International Association For New
Muslims is a wholesome, updated hub in various
languages (Arabic, English and French) covering the
fields of interest to the new Muslims in order to
communicate with them and care for their cultural
needs, so in return they may benefit their societies
and be promoters of peace. The website was launched
in January 2004, which corresponds to Dhû l’Ĥijja
1424 hegira.
Objectives of the website
1. To correspond with new Muslims and give them
cultural support.
2. To Explain the teachings of Islam and its humane
and cultural perspectives.
3. To establish friendship and brotherhood between
new Muslims.
4. To exchange experiences and coordinate our
endeavours along with establishments and
individuals.
5. To provide services for individuals and reply to
their inquiries.

1. Introduction to the pillars of Islam and the
rituals.

5. Introduction to Islamic occasions, explaining the

Conventions for New
Muslims of Europe
The International Association for New Muslims
organises many conventions throughout the year in
which the new Muslims get the opportunity to meet
prominent scholars and Muslim preachers in order to
listen to the New Muslims and understand their
points of view, their suggestions and in order to
attend to their inquiries.
Objectives of the Conventions
1. Establish brotherhood and friendship between the
new Muslims of Europe.
2. Teach new Muslims the basics of Islam. That is
achieved by organising intense courses on the
prophet’s biography, the rituals of Islam, morality
and the recitation of the Qur’an.
3. Equip the new Muslim to integrate into his own
society. Such is achieved by organising symposiums
on the topic of tolerance in Islam.
4. Offer the new Muslim an atmosphere of recreation
by organising sporting events and quiz competitions.
5. Meet well-known individuals who had recently
converted to Islam.
6. Meet the heads of organisations catering for new
Muslims.
7. Listen to the suggestions and opinions of new
Muslims regarding the Association’s coming
activities and discuss about them with the new
Muslims.
Achievements
The International Association for New Muslims has
organised numerous annual conventions in
Switzerland, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Sweden,
Belgium, Britannica, Norway and Japan. In the near
future we intend to have conventions held in South
America.

New Muslims’ Library
The aim of this project is to collect all published
material available which concentrates on the needs
of new Muslims, such as books, cassettes and CDs,
and then reproducing them in an professional manner.
Implementation of the Project
The International Association for New Muslims
selects specialists capable of writing books for new
Muslims in a clear and easy manner, and before
proceeding with printing the materials they are
reviewed and revised by a
panel of reviewers in order to check their

Objectives of the Project
* Help the new Muslim perform the fifth pillar of
Islam.
* Give them the opportunity to visit the Grand
Masjid in Makka and the Prophet’s Masjid in Madina.
* Touring the historic sites of Makka and Madina.
* Letting new Muslims become acquainted with one
another.

Exhibition to Introduce Islam to Various Places
The objective of the exhibition is to project the
beauty and wisdom of Islam to the world.
Contents of the Exhibition
1. Various Islamic Materials
· Displaying posters which discuss Islam, especially
the collection of posters known as the “Discover
Islam” collection.
· Projecting the contribution of Muslims in the
fields of science and human civilization
(introducing the ancient books about science)
· Responding to misconceptions and stereotypes
attributed to Islam
2. A tent for reception
One thing which delights visitors is finding an
Arabian tent equipped with the Arabian floor-level
couches and an Arabian host offering a taste of
Arabian coffee and dates.
3. Discover Islam
A channel called “Discover Islam” is broadcasted
directly through the internet and includes programs
introducing Islam in means of dialogues and
documentaries. Moreover, it also asserts the
scientific miracles as revealed in the Qur’an.
4. A show of Arabian art and calligraphy.
5. Reserving a corner for Islamic e-books in a
variety of languages, concentrating on the unbiased
work of thinkers and intellectuals regarding Islam.
6. Having a miniature replica of the Holy Mosque of
Makkah placed in the centre of the exhibition, where
visitors can get a glimpse of the historical aspects
of the process of building the Ka‘ba and be told
about the Ka‘ba’s importance to Muslims.
Gifts for New Muslims
Giving gifts to the new Muslims right after
embracing Islam is considered one of the best ways
to delight them. Offering them a small briefcase as
a gift has a profound effect on their new way of
life.
The prophet, may the peace and blessings of Allah be
upon him, said, “I swear by Allah, that Allah making
you a means to guide one person (to Islam) is better
for you than the best of the (worldly) bliss”.
