With the sponsorship of the International Association For New Muslims (IANM), the ladies department of the Federation of Social Organisations of Ukraine ‘Arraid’ organised the First Ladies Dawah Camp for Ukrainian ladies who embraced Islam and are active in the field of dawah (i.e. introducing Islam) throughout the regions and cities of Ukraine.

Around 150 Ukrainian Muslim ladies from numerous cities and of various age groups participated in the camp, which was held in one of the resorts in the forest areas adjacent to the capital Kyiv. The segments were a bouquet of various religious, cultural, recreational and sporting activities. The camp lasted five days during a period from the 01st till the 06th of this current month May.

The inauguration of the camp was done with the attendance of the chairman of Arraid Dr. Ismail Kadi, the imam and orator of the Islamic Cultural Centre of Kyiv Sheikh Dr. Imad Abu Al-Rub, and the head of the ladies department Fatima Amr Alayeva, during which they welcomed those attending and emphasised the main objectives

 sought from the camp, which were:

1. Helping each of the participating Muslim ladies elevate in faith and knowledge, in a manner which strengthens their steadfastness on this religion they willingly chose, and in a manner which gives them the incentive to have an active role in serving this religion of moderation and in introducing it in a rightful way.
2. Strengthening the sisterly bonds between the participating ladies.
3. Exchanging the experiences of those participating ladies in the field of introducing Islam to other women.
