With the help of the Swiss Muslims League the International Association for New Muslims (IANM) has held the Second Convention for New Muslims in the French Zone of Switzerland. It was held on the 28th Shawwâl 1425 hegira which corresponds to the 11th December 2004, in the city of La Chaux-de-Fonds in Switzerland. It lasted for two days and it was attended by more than 150 participants. The guests of honour were the German-born lawyer – who is an activist in the field of inviting people to Islam (dawah) and seeing to the matters of Muslims in Europe – Sister Susan Berning, the activist in the field of dawah in Switzerland Mr. Khaldoon Diya'uddin and the manager of the Cultural Centre Sister Nadya Al-Rashidi. The convention dealt with numerous matters such as:

1. Islam and Career life.
2. Challenges Muslims face in Switzerland between citizenship and preserving the creed.
3. Workshops were held to discuss Islamic affairs:
• How can one preserve one's religiousness while living in Swiss society?
• Muslim youth.
• Inter-ethnic marriages: Reality and Utopia.
