What Does it Mean to Perform Hajj with the
IANM?
The IANM is an organisation established for the purpose of caring for
new Muslims. A Muslims relationship with another fellow Muslim is like
a wall; each part of it supports the other. Being aware that the heart
of a new Muslim yearns to visit the Sanctified House of Allah, just as
we do, or perhaps with greater zeal, we have decided to initiate the
project of sponsoring new Muslims during their trip of a lifetime, in
order to help our brethren to perform this obligation and provide them
with their needs of Islamic knowledge and have them experience the
spiritual atmosphere, all in a full package lasting sixteen days,
starting with a warm welcome at the Madinah International Airport, then
residing there in Madinah for five days, then moving on to Makkah,
dwelling there for ten days, and that includes the hajj, then returning
home with our warm farewells via the airport in Jeddah.
It includes brotherly gatherings, lectures, contests, an excursion of
Makkah, Madinah and Jeddah, a course for learning the Arabic language,
and the distribution of gifts and books to the guests.
In order to nominate yourself for participation in this trip and to be
sponsored please read the relevant stipulations.
We have taken an oath upon ourselves which we still uphold, by the will
of Allah; that we cater for the new Muslims so they may excel in faith.

one year up to six years since conversion. (mandatory)

Important Notes:
The final date to receive nomination requests is 30th Shawwal 1430
hegira, corresponding to the 19th October 2009, keeping in mind that
whoever is successfully granted sponsorship must book a flight to arrive
in Madinah on either 18th or 19th November 2009, corresponding to 01st
and 02nd Thul Hijjah 1430 hegira, and departure must be on either 02nd
or 03rd December 2009, corresponding to 15th and 16th Thul Hijjah 1430
hegira.
The trip duration is sixteen days. The IANM will only cater for the
costs of this period. Whatever exceeds that is to be taken care of at
the applicants own expense. Please note that the Ministry of Hajj
enforces that the pilgrims must depart before the 20th Thul Hijjah 1430
hegira, corresponding to the 07th December 2009.
Sending your request of nomination does not guarantee instant
sponsorship. Rather, the nominees are chosen according to priority,
while the rest are left on the waiting list for the next year.
The IANM offers its programs and services to both men and women alike.
Once sponsored for the trip, we urge that you adhere to the proposed
activities and the itinerary, wishing you an accepted hajj and that your
effort gains the satisfaction of Allah.
